Double-Fist

Steelhead and salmon dread the Spey.  Fast action, built to form perfect d-loops, and cast long distances.  Allowing you to keep your fly in the water longer.  Two-handed rods have become somewhat of an obsession for us at Teton Rod Company.  We believe you will feel the same way.

The Spey Features

  • Fast Action
  • 4 Piece
  • Black Recoil Guides
  • Hard-Coated Resin Finish
  • 7-10 Weight
  • Black/Silver Guide Wrapping

Are you a little rough on fly rods?

We offer the ability to purchase an additional rod tip section.  This keeps you on the water and minimizes downtime.  If you wish to purchase a rod with a spare tip, make sure to select the option (With extra tip section) in the drop down menu.

Recoil Guides

Are you a little rough on fly rods?  Recoil snake guides have saved us more than we care to admit.  They are designed to be flexible, yet rigid.  If you were to accidentally compress one of the snake guides, they will return to their natural shape.

7 & 8 Weight

Both the 7 and the 8 weight rods are 12'6".  Designed to form perfect d-loops, and cast long distances.  Allowing you to keep your fly in the water longer.  The length of the rods allows for better mending of the spey line.

Suggested Line:

Flies: Streamers

Fish: Salmon
